Brian Jones

Brian Jones is a senior services delivery manager at Snowflake with more than 20 years of professional experience from Accenture, Microsoft, Brooks Sports and T-Mobile. Jones dedicated the past 10 years to data engineering and technical product management of Agile delivery teams. This year will be the second time Jones has taught this course and he is excited to share his professional insights and real-world experience.

After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree: Information Systems from the University of Washington, Jones’ career started in technology consulting. As a consultant, Jones spent several years in business intelligence roles focused on the development of sales and marketing data warehouses, online analytical processing solutions (OLAP) and Tableau.

His diverse industry experience working in retail, high-tech and wireless information technology, accompanied by a recent Master of Science in Data Science, led him to pursue teaching with a focus on the practical uses of data for beginners and intermediate level students.
