Mr. Kelly has over ten years of China tax advisory experience. He has performed a wide range of analysis of various industries with regard to China tax implications. He advises clients on tax and legal implication of investment in China and supported a broad range of cross-border transactions. He was the primary tax advisory on an energy project for a major multinational investing in one of the top five largest-invested projects in the history of China. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Kelly was promoted to Partner with the Tax and Business Advisory Services Group of the Beijing office of a Big Four Accounting Firm. Mr. Kelly serves on the Editorial Board of China Tax Intelligence and is one of the main contributing co-editors for CCH’s China Tax & Customs Law Guide, which is edited by Baker & McKenzie’s China Tax practice four times per year. Mr. Kelly graduated from Trinity University, San Antonio in 1994 with a B.A. in Economics and Chinese, and from University of Pennsylvania Law School, Philadelphia in 1997. He is admitted to practice in New York.
