Graziadio School of Business and Management

Professor Parsons has over 15 years of business experience working in a range of industries. Brandon started his professional career working for McKenna Long & Aldridge (now Dentons). He worked on litigation (Fen-Phen), corporate (Blackberry), and anti-dumping cases (South Korea). After spending five years in law, Brandon transitioned to corporate employment. He was the managing director a division of Adecco Staffing (world''s largest staffing company), called Concise, where he supervised over both fifty attorneys and oversaw business development. After his time with Concise, he worked for Caterpillar Financial in Nashville, Tennessee.

Brandon began teaching in 2014 and currently teaches at the graduate and undergraduate level at Pepperdine''s School of Business. He currently teaches managerial economics, macroeconomics, international business, and business integration. Brandon is an avid traveler visiting over forty countries and every continent. Professor Parsons'' research interest is on how corruption affects economic growth, economic development, exports, and foreign direct investment. Brandon received his BA from the University of Southern Indiana, his MBA from Pepperdine University, his MA in Economics from the University of Detroit Mercy, and is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Economic Development at the University of Southern Mississippi.
