Brad was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and earned a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Electrical Engineering, then an MS in Operations Research from Cleveland State University. He worked in applications development and large scale / high risk project management for over 30 years; the work experience progressed from developer through management to executive positions. He eventually started a regional project management consulting company servicing large companies such as EY and Ford Motor Company.
He has taught a variety of subjects including swimming, martial arts, various bible studies (including a staff role with an international bible study organization), and financial management. He leveraged his love of teaching by changing careers into higher education by earning a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Cleveland State University and first taught there full time for 3 years. He has been an Associate Professor in Teaching for the Folgeman College and Business and Economics for over eight years.
He is married (43 years), has four children and four grandchildren.

Teaching
Brad's decades of international work experience provided him deep exposure to a wide variety of industries from computer services to chemical, commercial real estate, military and automotive manufacturing, banking, insurance, and more. He brings those experiences to the classroom and online environments. His teaching focus at FCBE is Analytics and Operations Management, including Lean Six Sigma.
He provides service to the university as a member of the Teaching and Learning Advisory Committee (TLAC) and ad hoc committees. He also consults to various companies delivering analytical, mentoring, and strategic services to companies of all sizes.
