Babson Olin Graduate School of Business

Brad Johnson joined the faculty as Visiting Lecturer in the fall of 2018. Johnson teaches SME Technology & Operations Management.

Prior to joining Babson, Johnson was Vice President at Wayfair, where he developed, launched and managed CastleGate Fulfillment, that provides order fulfillment, inventory storage and management, freight pick-up and container induction services, and guaranteed 2-day and next-day delivery to customers. Johnson also developed and grew channel sales and established Wayfair as the #1 partner or #1 in the home category for sales on Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Staples.com, Sears.com, eBay, Best Buy, and Tesco. Additionally, Johnson developed Wayfair Canada strategy, private label credit card, and managed the 2013 acquisition of DwellStudio.

Previously, Johnson founded and led operations for Intrepid Learning Solutions where he wrote the business plan, raised $16M funding, and executed the strategy to build a leading training and learning business, becoming #79 on the Inc 500 list of fastest growing companies. Successful exit as business was sold to Xerox Corporation and VitalSource. Johnson has over 15 years experience and success starting-up companies and managing businesses at EMC, PepsiCo, Polaroid, and KPMG with seven years spent internationally.

Johnson is a strategic advisor to Candy.com/Greenrabbit.com, a leader in the online sales and fulfillment of candy/grocery, Sequoyah, a leading Danish company in the gems and precious metals market, and served as a coach at Our Generation Speaks, a fellowship program and incubator that brings together a cohort of young Israeli and Palestinian community leaders who cooperate across ethnic and political lines to build shared prosperity within the region.
