40 Years of Hands On Action and Results in the Industry with some of the hardest and most challenging gases and situations in the Gas Patch or Refinery Offgas world. Experience with Oxygen; H2S/ CO2 and other sulfurs/COS/CS2; vacuum gathering/ measurement; extremely rich gas; strange and difficult containmentants; exotic metallurgies; and all phases of construction and operations. Experience with olefins and olefin rich gas cleanup; hydrogenation and ethlyene polishing; PSAs and H2 purification; NRU/ HeRUs, and related processes.

Specialties: Gas Processing and Conditioning in Oil and Gas, Refinery, mixed refrigerant LNG, and related Industry. Gas and Liquid Treating, Dehydration, NGL recovery (Cryogenic Expanders, MRU, JT, and related plants), Fractionation, Stabilization,Compression, etc; Operations, Design, Equipment Specifications, Fabrication, Construction, Project Management, Scheduling and Expediting, Optimization, Troubleshooting...Problem Solver,

  • Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering from MIT in 1979
  • ExxonMobil in Structural Engineering Section the Upstream Research Company
  • Group Leader in Structural Analysis Technology Project and was responsible for development and validation of analysis tools used to design of fixed bottom platforms
  • Led a team to develop comprehensive structural analysis capabilities for floating structures, 1993
  • Riser Group Leader responsible for research on deepwater riser system, 1999
  • Involved in research supporting exploration and development systems for the Arctic since 1999
  • Research activities include: vortex-induced vibrations, ultra-deepwater riser systems, LNG sloshing, exploration and development for the Artic and robotic systems to support upstream activities
