KAIST College of Business

Dr. Bowon Kim is Professor of Operations Strategy and Management Science at KAIST Business School in Seoul, Korea. He earned Doctor of Business Administration (Technology and Operations Management) from Harvard University (1995), Master of Science in Operations Research from Stanford University (1989), and Bachelor of Business Administration from Seoul National University (1988). He joined the KAIST faculty in 1996. His research interests are in supply chain management, new product innovation, and value chain sustainability. He has published papers in academic journals like Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Omega, R&D Management, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Project Management, and Long Range Planning. His book ‘Supply Chain Management’ was published by John Wiley & Sons in 2005 and its third edition titled ‘Supply Chain Management: A Learning Perspective’ is to be published by Cambridge University Press in 2017.
