Boston University

Nazer is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University, Boston, MA. From 2009 to 2010, he was a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI.

His research interests are in information theory, communications, and signal processing, with a focus on developing new techniques for distributed, reliable computation over networks. For his dissertation research, he received the Eli Jury Award from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC – Berkeley. He is a member of Eta Kappa Nu, Tau Beta Pi, and Phi Beta Kappa.
