Biography

Bipasha Choudhury (B.Sc. (Medical Science) University of St. Andrews 2000; M.B.Ch.B University of Manchester 2003; MSc Medical Education University of Manchester 2013).

Bipasha is a GMC registered doctor and has worked in many hospitals in the Northwest in different specialities including acute medicine, colorectal surgery and orthopaedics. She is a lecturer in anatomy and teaches topographical anatomy to a wide range of students. She is a person designated under the Human Tissues Act 2004.

Bip co-ordinates lectures and practicals on functional anatomy for optometrists and second year life scientists. She is the academic lead for the year 1 medical student personal excellence pathway, the dissertation lead for year 2 life sciences students as well as the faculty lead for life sciences for year 1 midwifery students.

She is a member of the British Association of Clinical Anatomists as well as the Anatomical Society of Great Britain and Ireland.
