Biography

Dr. Bin Hu is an Associate Professor at the Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. He obtained his PhD degree in Operations Management from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan and taught at University of North Carolina before joining UTD. He has diverse research interests and experiences in supply chain and procurement management, and has published numerous research articles in leading academic journals on subjects including procurement auction design, contracting, supply risk management and manufacturing reshoring. He has taught Strategic Sourcing and Procurement in both UNC and UTD’s master programs.
