Bhavin J. Shah is working as faculty in the area of Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques at IIM Indore.

Education

Bhavin holds PhD in Statistics and Operations Research from School of Sciences, Department of Statistics at Gujarat University. He obtained Master of Science in Statistics with distinction from School of Sciences, Department of Statistics, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He is a member (CA) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Research Interests

His current areas of research interest include Supply Chain Modeling; Hospital Management; Healthcare Delivery Models; Hospital Management; Perishable Inventory Systems; Revenue Sharing Models in coordinated supply chains; Service Operations; E-Commerce; Online Retailing; Business Model Generation and Validation; Simulation Studies and Case Research.

Research and Publication

He has research experience of about ten years and has been publishing research papers regularly. He has published research papers so far in peer reviewed international and national journals like Asia Pacific Journal of Operations Research (APJOR); OPSEARCH; International Journal of Operations Research (IJOR), International Journal of Mathematics in Operational Research (IJMOR); International Journal of Services in Operations Research (IJSOM); International Journal of Business Performance and Supply Chain Modeling (IJBPSCM); International Journal of Data Analysis Techniques and Strategies (IJDATS) etc. He has also number of management cases that are registered with Ivey Publishing and Case Center.

He has been working as a referee for a number of national and international journals. He has attended and presented research papers at several national and international conferences in India and abroad. He has also been invited as resource person at various conferences, workshops, seminars, FDPs and MDPs.
