Betty Sacco

Professor Adjunct at Webster University

Biography

-

I am a Jungian analyst and psychotherapist, I work in Lausanne in private practice with adult individuals and couples, and I teach Psychology at Webster University, Geneva.

After a Masters in Italian Literature and Theory of Literature from the University of Rome La Sapienza, I studied at the C.G. Institute in Zurich, where I obtained my Psychoanalytic Diploma, with a thesis on The House as a Symbol of the Human Psyche.

My research interests are about the relationship between individual and collective psyche, psychology and culture, and narcissism, with an emphasis on children of narcissistic mothers.

I am Italian, married to an American and mother of two daughters who are citizens of the World. I have been in Switzerland since 1990 and I have an interest for what is ‘other’ from me: culture, individuals, lifestyles, languages, and ideas.
