Biography
Dr. Bernadine Dykes is an Associate Professor of Management and Chairperson of the Management Science Department in the School of Business at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. Her research interests include first mover advantages, entry timing strategies, and public-private partnerships.
Dr. Dykes received a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Michigan State University, a Master’s in Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University. She also is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to academia, Dr. Dykes worked for several years in the financial services industry with KPMG in Washington, D.C. and JPMorgan Chase in New York.
