About

Ben is the data science leader at Mintel, a global market intelligence agency that delivers actionable market research and consumer intelligence from data to some of the world’s largest corporations. He is responsible for a global data science and innovation team focused on expanding Mintel''s analytical capabilities in advanced data analysis, predictive modeling, AI and machine learning. Prior to joining Mintel, Ben’s professional experience was in data and analytics consulting where he worked in various positions and roles for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before founding the data science practice at Aptitive, a boutique data consultancy in Chicago.

In addition to his professional work at Mintel, Ben has held an active position on a “NextGen” Advisory Board for local Chicago manufacturer, Gold Eagle Co. 

Ben has been teaching Data Mining (INFS 494) at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan Graduate School of Business since 2017.
