Vlerick Business School Executive Education
Ben De Coninck obtained a Master of Business Economics at KU Leuven in 2015 and a Master in General Management at Vlerick Business School in 2016. In August 2016, Ben joined the school as a Researcher in the Technology & Operations Management Area, working on various research projects in the field of Information Systems Management and Digital Transformation.
In February 2017, Ben started a joint PhD at Vlerick Business School, KU Leuven, and the Royal Military Academy of Belgium. His research focusses on how Innovative Public Procurement (‘innovating the public procurement process or strategy’) can serve as a lever for Public Procurement of Innovation (‘the purchase of innovative solutions by public sector organizations’). To this end, Ben works closely together with the Cabinet of Public Administration in the Belgian federal government.
