Barbara Jones is a vice president of client communications, part of our Global Client Capability Building team. She is based in New York.

An expert in interpersonal communication, Barbara teams with our partners to help C-suite executives communicate at their highest level in crucial moments of transition and transformation across both internal and external forums. She has worked with clients across regions and industries, including biotech, IT, consumer goods, financial services and telecomm.

Barbara also leads our Global Training communication initiatives.

Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Barbara spent 15 years as a communication consultant, trainer and coach to top-tier organizations and academic institutions. Her experience includes six years as a consultant with another top firm, focused on implementing its communication skills curriculum throughout the Americas.

Barbara has served as an adjunct professor of business communication at New York University's Stern School of Business and has taught communication skills at Columbia Business School. She also worked as a professional actress, performing in theatre, commercials and film.

Barbara holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor's degree from Duke University.
