Dr. Aubry Threlkeld is the Myrt Harper Rose '56 Dean of the School of Education and Codirector of the Doctoral programs in education at Endicott College. Dr. Threlkeld defines their work through connecting research to practice in the field of education and presented more than 100 talks in the areas of pedagogy, reading instruction, disability, and cultural studies.
Dr. Threlkeld has served in a variety of teaching roles at Pace University; at the Experimental College at Tufts University; and in Studies of Women, Gender and Sexuality at Harvard University. They consult and advise on a number of national projects including as a member of the Collaborative on Racialized Disability (CORD) at Easterseals International where they focus on advising projects related to improving the lives of Black children with disabilities and their families.
They have a number of publications across a variety of fields focused primarily on the practical work of curriculum development for children and youth with disabilities, autoethnography, 2SLGBTQIA+ studies and even poetry. Dr. Threlkeld received their doctorate in education from Harvard University, a Masters in Elementary Education from Mercy College, and a Masters in Business Administration from Endicott College.
