Atul Gupta is the Global Chief Medical Officer of Image Guided Therapy (IGT) at Philips, and a practicing physician with over 20 years of experience in medical leadership, minimally invasive interventional procedures and diagnostic radiology, image-guided therapy innovation and new product development.​

Worldwide, Philips’ Image Guided Therapy solutions are helping to treat one patient every second. Atul and Philips aim to improve existing image-guided therapy procedures and support new procedures so that more patients can benefit from minimally-invasive therapies. ​ Atul is responsible for the Philips IGT clinical strategy and provides direction and guidance on the product roadmap and vision. In addition, he provides medical leadership and clinical support to the full cluster of IGT businesses and markets worldwide, including IGT interventional systems, medical devices and EPD Solutions.​ ​ He is also the director and founder of Interventional Vascular Consultants, an independent vascular and interventional radiology practice providing interventional radiology services in the Philadelphia area. ​ Philips, a global leader in health technology, generated sales of EUR 19.5 billion in 2020. Philips employs approximately 82,000 employees with sales and services in more than 100 countries.
