Fordham University
Arunima Sinha is an Associate Professor of Economics at Fordham University. She has a Ph.D. from Columbia University, and previously held visiting positions at Rutgers University and the Federal Reserve Banks of New York and St. Louis.
Her main area of research is macroeconomics. Recent work has focused on analyzing the role of expectations of investors, how these react to, and are influenced by, macroeconomic events. Other work examines the importance of credibility of fiscal authorities and central banks while transitioning to new policy regimes, and using historical episodes to further understand the effects of the recent unconventional monetary policies.
