Biography
I joined Chemical Engineering from CTS, Huddersfield in 1998 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2004. In September 2006, I took over the role of Director of UG Studies in CEAS and in 2006 created a dedicated UG Board responsible for the operational issues surrounding the core Chemical Engineering programmes. I am a member of the Education Speicial Interest Group of the IChemE from 2013.
This December (2007) I was presented with one of six inaugural ExxonMobil (RAEng) Excellence in Teaching Gold Medals at Claridges, London.
I am an active contributor to the British Zeolite Association and was on the organising committee for the annual conferences from 1999 - 2005. In addition I was the publicity officer from 1999-2000 and secretary from 2001-2005.
