Arijit De

Arijit De is currently working as an Assistant Professor at The University of Manchester. He is a Management Science Lecturer and Operations Research Scientist.

Arijit has authored 16 technical papers in International Journals (peer-reviewed) such as European Journal of Operational Research (Grade 4 Journal, ABS list), Transportation Research Part E (Grade 3 Journal, ABS list), International Journal of Production Economics (Grade 3 Journal, ABS list), IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (Grade 3 Journal, ABS list), International Journal of Production Research (Grade 3 Journal, ABS list), Annals of Operations Research (Grade 3 Journal, ABS list), Computers and Industrial Engineering, Expert Systems with Applications and Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence. Arijit is also serving as a reviewer for several renowned International Journals.

Arijit De received his Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering and M.Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management.

Previously, Arijit was associated as a Co-Investigator - Operations Research Expert with VALUMICS_H2020. He also worked as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Operations Management at Newcastle University Business School, Newcastle University.

Prior to this, Arijit worked as a Researcher in the School of Business and Economics, Loughborough University. Furthermore, he worked at the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, The University of Hong Kong.
