Biography
Anthony (Tony) Krautmann is a professor and chair of the economics department in the Driehaus College of Business. Krautmann's research interests include sports economics, econometrics and the economics of uncertainty. His work has been published in a number of different outlets, including the Journal of Sports Economics, the Southern Economic Journal and Economic Inquiry. He has also refereed for 15 different academic journals, as well as served as a guest editor for the Journal of Sports Economics and a grant reviewer for the National Science Foundation. Krautmann has served as president of the Illinois Economic Association and as the vice president of the North American Association of Sports Economists.
Krautmann has been teaching at DePaul since 1985.
