Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics

Enginneering Professor Dr. Anthony ChoiDr. Anthony Choi received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University in 1991, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Florida in 1995 and 2002, respectively. He is presently a Professor and Director of Machine Intelligence & Robotics Laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Mercer University, Macon, GA. He was awarded an ASEE Summer Faculty Fellowship to work at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division on Mine Counter Measures using Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. He has served on various boards including the executive board for Georgia Space Grant Consortium. He is also active in consulting. He is an owner/partner in several start-up companies.

Professional Interests

Dr. Choi’s primary research interest is Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Expert Systems, Big Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Unmanned Systems, Robotics, Intelligent Systems, and Acoustic Localization. He has been conducting projects from NASA and Office of Naval Research in machine learning, unmanned systems, data analytics, neural networks, smart devices, and artificial intelligence.
