Ann Marie Asadoorian is a Certified Public Accountant and a Lecturer of Accounting in the Questrom School of Business. Upon completing her MBA at the Sawyer School of Business, the Accounting Department Chairman at Suffolk University offered her an Adjunct Lecturer position. She held that position from 1992 to May, 2021. Ann Marie joined Boston University in 2005 as an Adjunct Lecturer, and was appointed to full time Lecturer in 2021. She is currently the course coordinator for Managerial Accounting, and has also taught Financial Accounting and Intro to Finance for non business majors. Prior to her academic employment, Ann Marie worked for two of the Big 4 audit firms as a Senior Auditor, and then worked with her husband from 1990 to 2021 building their own Accounting and Tax firm. Ann Marie was also the owner and operator of The Concord Brewery in Lowell MA for five years, where she managed all aspects of the business including production, sales, marketing and distribution. She draws on these experiences to integrate the real world aspects of the subjects she teaches. Ann Maire lives In Concord MA with her husband, where she raised four children. She enjoys swimming, biking and running, and has a passion for Olympic distance triathlons.
