Biography

Angelica Gianfreda (PhD and MSc) is Assistant Professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UniMoRE, Italy). She is also an affiliate researcher at the London Business School within the Energy Markets Group. She currently acts as Associate Editor of the Journal of Energy Markets (Risk.net) and before for the section “Energy Economics and Policy” of the journal Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews (Elsevier). In addition, she was a guest editor for a special issue published on Energy Economics (Quantitative Analysis of Energy Markets, Elsevier, 2013) and, more recently, for one published on Energies (Economics of Sustainable and Renewable Energy Systems, MDPI, 2019). Angelica serves the INEA agency of the European Commission as an external independent expert for RIA & CSA energy actions, and as a reviewer for research associations and academic journals. Previously, she was Marie Curie Intra-European Fellow at the London Business School, Jean Monnet Fellow at the Florence School of Regulation within the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (European University Institute) and assistant professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. Her research focuses on Energy Economics, Policy and Risk Management. Angelica has published in leading journals such as Operations Research, International Journal of Forecasting, Energy Economics, Energy Policy, The Energy Journal, and contributed to books edited by Springer.
