Biography
Andrew Leff is a 20-year veteran of the music industry and an attorney, working with and advocating for artists throughout his career. After his graduation from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1996, Leff quickly became an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, NY. He later made a shift into entertainment law and business management, as Founder and President of Acme Music, developing new acts and guiding established artists including: Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson, King Crimson, and Living Colour.
After his time as an artist manager, Leff transitioned to the live sector, booking shows nationally and internationally as a Talent Agent for the Agency for Performing Arts (APA).
Complementing his professional work, Leff maintained a commitment to higher learning. In addition to his role as an Associate Professor in the Music Industry Department at the USC Thornton School of Music, he has lectured at Fordham University on Constitutional Law, Civil Rights Law and Criminal Law.
