The Kets de Vries Institute

Andreas is a Senior Executive Coach and Leadership Development Consultant with over 20 years experience in the field. He is an accredited Coach at KDVI, INSEAD as well for the Global Hogan Coaching Network. His range of responsibilities has encompassed merger integration, business transformation, talent and leadership development, executive assessment, senior executive coaching and organisational development. He has experience in advising and implementing projects by balancing global consistency and local relevance in a highly complex and matrix environment. While he has a global scope his current focus is in Europe and Asia.

 

His extensive corporate experience comprises senior HR positions with Merck and Daimler. As part of his roles, he designed and implemented different leadership flagship programs for the TOP 300 Executives at Merck. He also established a high impact Talent Management Programme globally, selected and placed Senior Executives around the world and was key HR contributor in major acquisitions. In his Global HR Head role for Emerging Markets Andreas received the SHRM Award in the category Strategic HR Leadership with his team for their M&A contribution. As Head of Global Learning, he ensured Merck achieved a placement amongst the TOP 70 global companies in the Aon Hewitt’s Top Companies for Leaders benchmarking study. His client experience includes companies like Adidas, Airbus, Bank of Singapore, Bosch, BASF, Cargill, Cisco, Coca Cola, Covidien, Dell, Fresenius Kabi, Generali, GM, Goldman Sachs, Google, HP, McDonalds, Microsoft, Mizuho, Munich Re, Philipps, PWC, Samsung, Sheraton, Siemens, Swisscom, Syngenta, Tata, Unilever, Walt Disney.

 

Andreas holds a PhD in Business Administration as well as an Executive Master in Coaching and Consulting for Change from INSEAD. He is licensed in the KDVI and INSEAD assessment portfolio (incl. 360). He is an accredited in the Hogan Assessment Suite, Cultural Navigator, Communication Preferences, Change Pro Simulation and Tata Business simulations as well as Value Negotiation. In addition he is qualified in Insights Discovery and Neo PI. Of German origin, Andreas has lived and worked in Europe, USA and Asia and has collaborated with people from over 50 countries. He has published a range of articles in the field of Leadership Development and Change Management over the last 20 years. Andreas also won the Global Coaching Leadership Award.
