Biography

Alfio Puglisi joined King’s College London in 2017. He studies the interaction of political and economic systems of financial innovations (i.e Blockchain applications for financial services). He is also interested in how scholars construct explanations and make inferences in the social sciences.

He teaches International Economics at Fordham University and is an advisor to regulatory bodies, start-ups and investment funds working in the distributed ledger technologies (DLT) space.

Prior to joining King’s College, he worked at the European Banking Authority as a Policy Analyst in the Financial Innovation Unit.
