Columbia Business School
Alberta Barron is an Associate Director in Executive Education. Alberta is the chief operator responsible for organizing and delivering the School's Advanced Management Program. She manages the budget, sources and contracts vendors, works closely with the faculty director to secure talent and content, organizes the agenda, and delivers the 30-day in residence program. Alberta joined the Business School in March 2007 when she first managed a full portfolio of Executive Education Certificate programs, both Custom and Open. Alberta is bi-lingual, fluent in Spanish and English. When not on site, Alberta works from her home office in Charleston, South Carolina. She enjoys her low-country, coastal community, is a publicist for the local garden club, and an advocate for endangered loggerhead and leatherback turtles.
