Albert Jolink

Albert Jolink is Professor of Strategic Management at SKEMA Business School in Paris since August 2019.

Before joining SKEMA Business School, he was Reader in Strategic Management with a research focus on Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability at Coventry University Business School. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

From 2013-2015 he was Vice Dean and Head of Department Economics and Business of Erasmus University College, of Erasmus University Rotterdam. In Spring 2014 he obtained the N.G. Pierson Chair at the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication of Erasmus University Rotterdam.

On 17 October 2014 he delivered his inaugural speech at Erasmus University Rotterdam on the topic 'Eerlijk zullen we alles delen': wat is er eigenlijk mis met economische ongelijkheid?

He was Director of Graduate Studies of the Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics at the Department of Philosophy of Erasmus University, Scientific Director of the Center for History in Management and Economics at the Rotterdam School of Management and Academic Director of the Part-time Master Business Administration of the Rotterdam School of Management. He was Associate Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management of Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam until 2013 and N.G. Pierson Professor at the University of Amsterdam until 2012.

From 2005-2010 he was Editor-in-Chief of the economic bi-weekly Economisch Statistische Berichten.

He obtained his Master’s degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 1991 he obtained his PhD in Economics cum laude from the Tinbergen Institute.
