Albert Armisen is a socio-technical computational researcher with interest in open collaboration, innovation and fuzzy logic. His research is user-inspired on open collaboration about open source software and crowdsourced discussions. He is interested at the micro and meso level of collaboration across different individuals and actors using quantitative and qualitative computational methods. Albert worked as a software engineer and as a manager of European projects, prior starting the academic life. Currently, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Communication at UVic-UCC and an academic collaborator at ESADE's MiBA and BBA. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences (ESADE), MSc in Wireless Systems for KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Telecommunications Engineer for Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (Barcelona Tech).
