Biography

Professor Alastair Nicholson’s research interests are management processes (needed to complement business systems), the use of performance measures, and interactive learning methodologies.
He has had papers published in leading journals in his field, including: the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Production Management and the Journal of Management Development.
He has consulted on mergers, new product development, core process identification and strategic initiatives. He has also worked in Poland and Russia on business development in emerging markets.
He was formerly Principal Scientific Officer at AERE; Systems Programmer, IBM.
