Biography
Alan Saipe has been involved with supply chain and logistics management for most of his working career – as a consultant, an educator and a line manager. As director of operations at Connaught Laboratories Limited he rightsized the company’s insulin inventory. As an educator he has taught logistics and inventory management in MBA, executive MBA and in executive education programs. And, as a consultant, he has worked with dozens of clients to improve and optimize their distribution inventories. Alan has also had a long affiliation with Supply Chain & Logistics Canada. He is a past chairman of the association, having been on its National Board of Directors for nine years.
