Biography

University of Stellenbosch Business School

Degree of study: Masters: Education Management I have been working for Ernst & Young for the last 3 years and transferred to the office in Qatar in March this year. I have however resigned and will be moving back to South Africa at the end of the year. After completion of my notice period with EY, I plan to work globally as a consultant focusing on leadership development.

I am in the process to set up a consulting business (AC Consulting) that will focus on developing leaders and building teams. Below is a glimpse of what I plan to do:

‘In a world filled with many disruptions on micro and macro level, building the capacity to be able to connect with our own deeper sources and people around us has never been more important. When we connect deeply and use that as the foundation of engaging with the reality around us, we can connect with what’s waiting to emerge through us. We believe that leaders with a connected head, heart and hands will be able to achieve their potential.

AC Consulting uses MIT lecturer Otto Scharmers’ ‘Theory U’ and Values-driven Leadership methodologies as the basis to create spaces and facilitate processes where leaders connect deeply within themselves and with each other in order to create a future they envision. By actively creating our envisioned futures we can forever change the landscapes of our businesses and find sustainable solutions for environmental and societal challenges’.

I plan to use this as the focus for my Phd as well, where I want to create and test a prototype focused on Leadership Development specifically for leaders in the Civil Society.
