Mendoza College of Business

Adam Wowak is an Assistant Professor and J. Donnelly Fellow of Management in the Mendoza College of Business. He received his Ph.D., as well as his bachelor''s degree, from the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to entering academia, he worked in investment banking. Adam''s research focuses on strategic leadership and corporate governance, with an emphasis on top executives and their effects on organizational outcomes. His work appears in journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, and the Academy of Management Annals. He is an active reviewer for all of the major journals in his field, and currently serves on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Journal. Adam is also an award-winning teacher of undergraduate and master''s-level courses in strategic management.
