Curriculum Vitae

Adalberto Alberici is SDA Professor of Banking and Insurance at SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is Full Professor of “Economics of financial intermediaries” and Teacher of Banking Economics and Corporate Governance at University of Milan.

At SDA Bocconi, since 1971, he was coordinator of the Intensive Course of Directional Development, management executive program for executives of industrial companies and services and he coordinates the Executive Management Program in Banking (CIB), management executive program for banking executives. Ranked Financial Times since 1981. He conducted research and training programmes with important Italian banks.

His research activities focus on internal control systems, on corporate social responsibility, on corporate governance, on administrative responsibility, on compliance and on banking strategies.

He is the author of a hundred books and articles on his research topics. His works have been published in Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, FB Finance&Banking, Bancaria and Periscope, among others. He is President of the Supervisory Body for many banks and private enterprises, including two listed. He is board member ofBanca Popolare Pugliese, President of Quadrivio sgr and Advisory Board member of Bancaria, the Italian banking Association journal; of the scientific committee of the book series “Banche e mercati” of ABI (Italian banking Association); he is also member of the scientific committee of Banche&Banchieri and Chief of "Banche e professionalità (Banks and professionality)", F.Angeli editore.

Adalberto earned a Degree in Economics and Commerce at Bocconi University.
