He has a rich and varied experience in corporate, academic and research roles.
Prior to joining MDI, he was with Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur as Associate Professor in the area of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management. Before that he was with Adani group (Adani Enterprise) as Associate Vice President, Learning and Development. His other corporate assignments include General Manager, Leadership Development and Talent Management with Suzlon Energy, Senior Consultant with Tata Management Training Centre (TMTC), Pune.
He was the co-principal investigator of Tata-CCL joint research projects like Lessons of Experience (LOE), Bridging Cultural Boundaries (BCB) and Leadership Gap study, conducted in India.
He was also a faculty member in Organizational Behaviour Area with XLRI School of Business Management, Jamshedpur and a Visiting Faculty in OB area with IIM, Indore.
Prof. Abinash Panda is a graduate from International University of Japan (IUJ) and is a Fellow of Management Development Institute. He also has a Masters degree in Computer Applications from Regional Engineering College (currently National Institute of Technology), Rourkela. He has published around more than 45 research papers in various international and national journals He has also presented a number of papers in various national and international conferences including Academy of Management.
