NUS Institute of Systems Science

Abdul Hamid is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Auditors (FIIA) Singapore. He is currently the IT Audit Director in the Auditor-General's Office, with 30 years of experience in public sector auditing. His work includes audit of financial statements, IT systems, information security reviews and performance audits of IT-based programmes. Abdul Hamid was Vice-President of ISACA International Board of Directors and Vice-President of the IT Governance Institute (ITGI) from '02-'06. Prior to '02, he served on ISACA Research Board ('99-'01) and was President of ISACA Singapore Chapter from '96-'98. He is currently a Committee Member of the Association of Information Security Professionals (AISP).
