Biography

Singularity University

Aaike van Vugt has a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology. He is the co-founder of VSParticle, aiming to help research and industry in the production of inorganic nanoparticles with the goal to help researchers in the fundamental development of new products like batteries, catalyst, electronics, or nano-medicines.

Graduated as Chemical Engineer in 2014 from Delft University of Technology. Co-founded VSParticle a day after graduation. Selected for the YES!DELFT incubation program (biggest european high-tech incubator). Winner of the STARTUP competition 2014. Participant of MIT Accelerator (currently DELTA V) in the summer of 2015 to develop a scaling business model. Nanotechnology faculty member of Singularity University to help others understanding the full potential of nanotechnology. Selected as nanotechnology startup of the year 2015 (by Minacned). Helping others to build scalable businesses in the field of new materials as Mentor of Advance Material completion (AdMaCom) Berlin.
