Alex Makarevich

Alex holds an M.Phil. from Oxford and a Ph.D. in Economic Sociology from Stanford. He is currently an Associate Professor of Management at California State University East Bay, where he teaches Strategy and Entrepreneurship and coaches MBA teams in venture investing. He brings experience in entrepreneurship, angel investing, startup advising, and research on the U.S. venture capital industry.
