About the course

The Wine Business Management course is the only training programme of its kind in South Africa that focuses on the business aspects of wine.

The wine industry is complex and multidisciplinary and demands a specialised approach. This short course is tailored to the needs of the industry. It gives delegates critical market insight and the business acumen and leadership skills needed to maximise opportunities in the wine industry and make themselves and their organisations more competitive.

Delegates will learn from some of the most respected wine business practitioners in South Africa. The interactive, practice-driven case-study approach is easy to engage with and delivers valuable insights along with practical skills ranging from business plan formulation to strategic marketing.

Course Information

This course involves a ten day contact period at the GSB followed by the submission of an individual assignment. Delegates will be awarded a certificate from the University of Cape Town on successful completion of the course.
