About the course

This two-day open-enrollment program is designed for mid-level professionals, and is available as part of our Supply Chain certificate program.

Program Overview

In an environment of ever-increasing competition and customer expectations, the need for improved organizational performance has never been greater. Instead of applying an intuitive approach to streamlining and enhancing existing processes, Lean Six Sigma principles provide a powerful structured, quantitative method to optimize performance by eliminating waste, improving revenue and providing greater customer satisfaction. This two-day program combines the quantitative analysis of Lean Six Sigma with Kaizen, continuous improvement, and standardization.

Using a blend of lecture, individual and small group work, and a role-playing simulation, you will learn how to successfully define improvement projects, analyze work flows, identify improvement opportunities, improve process flows, and control process-quality levels, while increasing responsiveness and reducing inventories. You will leave this hands-on program ready to apply Lean Six Sigma principles in your organization.
