About the course
Our Director of Executive Education, Sarah Lethbridge, is offering a day of training in Lean and Operational Excellence in aid of Llamau, a charity that seeks to eradicate homelessness for young people and vulnerable women. All proceeds will be donated to Llamau as Cardiff Business School’s Charity of the Year.
This session will explore the core principles of Lean, Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence and will introduce some key tools to bring about positive change. Sarah joined Cardiff Business School as a Senior Researcher in the Lean Enterprise Research Centre in 2005 to look at the application of lean thinking within the service sector. Since that time she has worked with numerous firms to understand and apply a range of different improvement methodologies. She has worked with Nestlé, Ministry of Justice, HMRC, Principality Building Society, Legal and General DSTL, PA Consulting, Merseyside Police and many more organisations to help teams to develop their approach to improvement.
