Who should attend
No academic qualification is required, and most courses are suitable for students who are new to the subject.
All teaching is in English (unless a foreign-language course). If your first language is not English, you need to satisfy yourself that you have the required near-native command of the language to get the maximum benefit from studying with ICE.
About the course
Have you ever wonder if you’ll be ‘found out’? Have you just been ‘lucky’ to get to where you are today? Then you are like most people – you have experienced ‘the imposter syndrome’. This one day programme is for those who sometimes feel like imposters, or who might want to help others who feel the same. We will look at the nature of the imposter syndrome and, to discover ways of overcoming the feeling, we will explore the psychology and neuroscience behind it. In addition to understanding the imposter syndrome, most of the day will be devoted to practical ways of addressing it, overcoming it, and finally embracing the authentic and capable person you really are!
