Financial Decision-Making is a three-day core module of the Global Leader Program which can also be taken as a stand-alone program.

Understanding finance is crucial to obtaining project funding, anticipating business trends, or evaluating company performance. You cannot make decisions unless you understand how the money flows.
The Financial Decision Making program will provide you with an understanding of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial disclosures, and how this information relates to key variables in management decisions.
Up to 4.5 European credits (EC) can be transferred from the Financial Decision Making program to the Aalto Executive MBA or Aalto MBA program.

Contents and Schedule
The program provides an understanding of basic finance and accounting concepts. It starts by giving an overview of financial statements, and then examines the basic issues relating to costs and financial management. The basic financing and investment decisions of a company within a value maximization framework are introduced, emphasizing the application of financial concepts/models to practical applications for decision-making. Financial Decision Making is highly topical module drawing from current global economic examples.
