About the course

Financial Decision-Making is a three-day core module of the Global Leader Program which can also be taken as a stand-alone program.

Today’s business manager needs the know-how to navigate the financial information when making decisions. Understanding finance is crucial to obtaining project funding, anticipating business trends or evaluating company performance. You cannot make decisions unless you understand how the money flows.

The Financial Decision-making module will provide you with an understanding of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and other financial disclosures, and how this information relates to key variables in management decisions.

Contents and Schedule:

The Financial Decision-Making module will:

  • provide you with an understanding of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and other financial disclosure and how this information relates to key variables of management decisions
  • teach you international financial reporting (IFRS) requirements.

Financial Decision Making, January 2019

The module will provide you with an understanding of financial statements and how that information relates to key variables in management decisions. The highly topical module draws from current global economic examples.

The Financial Decision Making module will

  • provide you with an understanding of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and other financial disclosure and how this information relates to key variables of management decisions
  • teach you international financial reporting (IFRS) requirements.
