The Essentials of Data and Analytics online course assists the user in understanding the fundamentals of data and analytics, and how to use it in decision making. The course comprises two learning paths, with data strategy and analytics divided into separate sections, each with several modules on different topics, in order to give the participant a comprehensive introduction to the field.

Contents and Schedule The online course covers the essentials of data and analytics and provides the participant with fundamental know-how in the field including data strategy, field definitions of data and analytics, and case scenarios. The participant will get an overview of data and its importance and gain an understanding of the essentials of analytics and how to use data and analytics in decision making.
The online course also includes a Course Workbook, where reflections from the course are gathered in one handy document. You can apply the findings to reflect on your learning journey and use the workbook to start working on a data and analytics project idea.
The program is structured into 11 online modules that take approximately six hours in total to complete depending on your speed and preferred study style.
