The Diploma in Financial Inclusion is designed for development finance practictioners, policy makers, regulators, loan officers. This course will provide participants with sound technical expertise in financial inclusion which can be immediately applied in industry.
In this 12 month blended programme, participants will have the opportunity to combine the best of Frankfurt School - FSDF e-Campus and Inclusive Finance Summer Academy.

Frankfurt School's Sustainable World Academy Diploma courses start twice a year, the beginning of March and the beginning of September.
Our blended diploma programmes are 12-month part-time trainings, designed to be conducted alongside full-time work or other obligations. Aside from a few deadlines, the programmes take a very flexible approach, allowing participants to create their own study schedule. Participants also have the opportunity to attend a one-week summer training programme at the Frankfurt School's Inclusive Finance Summer Academy.

Certified Expert in Microfinance
The microfinance sector is dynamic and rapidly changing. Microfinance practitioners must be equipped with up-to-date knowledge and tools to strengthen their MFIs to be able to cope with the challenges of growth, complexity and competition.
The Certified Expert in Microfinance course is an excellent and comprehensive qualification for microfinance practitioners. It prepares you for the challenge of serving your clients in changing and increasingly competitive environments.
Certified Expert in Digital Finance
Digital finance offers a transformational solution for financial inclusion. Powered by the mobile phone, new data and technological innovations, it has become affordable and convenient for unbanked customers to access and use formal banking services. While new technological developments and financial players bring tremendous opportunities, the emerging landscape is also becoming more complex and is putting increasing pressure on traditional providers to go digital. . Period 2
In the second period, participants choose one additional course from the selection. The participants who have already completed one of these courses will have the opportunity to get it recognised.
Certified Expert in Financial Inclusion Policy The significant contribution that financial inclusion can make to achieving inclusive economic growth and the Sustainable Development Goals has gained global recognition.
This course will provide you with relevant knowledge on the following key financial inclusion policy areas – proportionate application of global standards, consumer protection, the digital route to financial inclusion, national strategies, measuring impact of financial inclusion.
The course will help develop skills to develop and analyse policies and design strategies to implement them with a special focus on developing countries.
During this period, participants attend the Inclusive Finance Summer Academy. After which they must complete either Proejct Work (5 ECTS) or an assignment (2 ECTS) to conclude the diploma. The decision to complete project work or an assignment is predetermined by the participant's previous course choices.
Project Work / Assignment
The aim of the project work or assignment is to provide you with the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge gained during the programme. It is the project work/assignment that proves that you have mastered the subject matter. It also demonstrates that you are able to perform critical analysis of a given problem and draw conclusions relevant for your respective company settings. Furthermore, it is evidence that you can describe the project related activities and results in a well-written format.
Inclusive Finance Summer Academy
This is the shortest period of the diploma. In this period, the participants have the opportunity to participate in the Inclusive Finance Summer Academy. You can choose one track from the various tracks offered in our one-week summer programme. After the successful completion of the summer academy, you will be awarded with the Diploma in Financial Inclusion.
