About the course

Effective justification of defense budget requests make the difference between your budget being approved or rejected. An approved budget enables budgeteers to support delivering programs and their agency’s fulfillment of the mission. Budgeteers must also prepare a budget justification that complies with relevant rules and regulations as outlined in OMB Circular A-11. Not only will you learn about the budget justification process, but you will practice the writing skills and techniques needed to adequately justify your budget.
