About the course

Delivered via e-learning, this qualification is a great continuation from our two day face-to-face Managing Projects Successfully programme, to help progress your knowledge and experience.

The Association for Project Management (APM) Project Fundamentals Qualification is based on the APM Body of Knowledge. This internationally recognised qualification is ideal for those looking to start a career in project management or new to the discipline to gain a solid understanding of the fundamental principles for managing a successful project.

Study time

This course is delivered fully online as self-study and so you will require access to a computer with internet access. A webinar is held in the first week of the course to demonstrate the learning materials and how to use the e-learning environment.

The e-learning portal combines multiple voices, animation and interactive exercises, throughout the study units allowing you to complete the units at a time and pace which suits you.

The course takes between 10-12 hours to complete, however you will have access to the materials for 6 months to be able to plan your study and book your exam.

Assessment

Assessment is through a 60-question, multiple choice examination, taken over 1 hour. The pass mark for this qualification is 60%.

Once you have completed the online learning and believe you are ready to sit your exam, you will be able to book your exam at one of the registered training venues, or online, using your exam code. We would recommend that you do not book your exam until you are able to achieve 70% or higher in the exam simulator.

You must sit your exam within your course registration period.
