Business experience

Yanos Michopoulos has 25 years international business experience in a variety of roles across the EMEA region in both the private and public sectors, especially in energy, infrastructure and private equity. He has managed large P&Ls, has been a member of regional and global leadership teams of large corporates and has managed large, distributed teams across countries and cultures. He is currently active as a business advisor and management consultant in the areas of strategy development and implementation, value creation, international expansion, M&A and change management.

Professional credentials and training experience

Yanos started his career as an academic. After his PhD (Durham, UK) he worked as research fellow at universities in the UK and Austria. His own executive education training took place at various business schools such as IMD, Ashridge, Cranfield and MCE. He is currently active as a leadership development trainer at the IoD, as well as board member and MBA speaker at various business schools in the UK, Europe and the US.
